Hey, do you like boots?
Cause I'm starting to like them. LOL.
A few years ago my aunt bought some ankle boots at Singapore. Me and my dad laughed at it. I keep teasing on how weird it looks.
But now, I take that back.
I kinda love the image that you get when you're wearing boots. The image you get when you walk in it, it's like you own each step. You can wear jeans with it, or shorts, or ruffled skirts, or even ruffled dress and it still won't look out of place. In fact it might look better, giving out a whole new different image.
Like if you're matching up a floral-printed dress with a pair of stilettos, it'll look really girly (at least way too girly for me). But if you try pairing it with some boots like Tisdale's, well.. it might look a little bit different, almost vintage maybe. Try googling it. LOL.
I've been trying to convince my mom for several months now (MONTHS!) to buy me a pair of boots. Not the tall ones, just the shorts, cheap ones. But she keeps on doubting that I'm actually gonna wear it (and sometimes I think she's right, I would never have the guts to wear it-.-). Too bad, maybe when I make my own money I'll buy a few pairs.
I personally like the ankled ones, they're more simple. But the thigh-high ones are waaay more dramatic, right? Like pair them up with some jeans and an old turtleneck or jacket and it'll give a whole new image.
Though honestly, I don't really think it's possible to walk in the mall dressing like this without everyone staring, or at least turning their heads.
Sometimes you gotta be bold to be different, true?
