I really, really, REALLY did NOT enjoy this year's SOP. It's not the friends, it's not the games, it's not the teachers. I just didn't enjoy it, for some reason that I don't know.
Yesterday they told as to go to school at 08.00 AM and we just sat down for 3 hours listening to their briefing. Yeah.. I know it's important information for us, but God! How do you expect a bunch of high school freshmen to sit quietly for 3 hours? It's almost impossible, honestly. My but itches from sitting too long. So we talk and talk and talk and ignoring whoever's talking infront, even the principles. (don't do this too it's not a very noble thing to do), and what's ironic is that our school focus this year is RESPECT. Oh yeah, we are very RESPECTFUL;)
Then they send us home at 11 AM so we'll have time to prepare for our assignments : make a name tag, bring a traditionally traditionally wrapped dinner, and wear a bracelet representing your group and your group number (for example, I'm Sadrakh 1. Sadrakh's colour is RED, so I must wear only one red bracelet. If you're Sadrakh 2, then you must wear 2 red bracelets). It doesn't make sense, but then nothing makes sense in SOP.
Came back to school at 5 PM, then we made some sort of a yell yell. My group's yell yell was only like "R!" "E!" "S!" "P!" "E!" "C!" "T!" "RESPECT!" *long pause* "WE ARE TEAAAAMMM.." "SADRAKH ONE!!", yea I know it's lame LOL.
Long story short, they want us to play games in each posts. Post 1 was like the "twister" game. They did not tell us any rules like: if you wanna move your arm, do it in one move. That's a very important rule, why did you not mention that?
The other posts are kinda boring, the usual. Finding coins inside a mixture of water and mushed up pieces of news paper (the news paper gets really wet and slimy, porridge like), then looking for Franssisca Victoria's signature without talking(easy, just write the name on the paper and ask a teacher where she is ==), then balancing a ball, things like that.
There was this one game that got me all soaking wet, I enjoy getting wet LOL. It's like the whole point of outbond, if you don't get dirty it won't be fun. They got a pipe full of little annoying holes, and we have to plug the holes with our fingers, cause we're gonna have to fill it with water. Since the water keeps coming out, we all keep getting wet, and if we're caught whispering, we'll be poured with a bucket of water. Yeah.
We got home at 10PM, exhausted. And the only thing I got from this SOP is terribly itchy legs caused by mosquito bites. Damn I can't sleep the whole night scratching them.
Well to take a look at the bright side, my classmates are fine. I got 2 homeroom teachers. One is a Religion teacher, the other one is the new art teacher. Half of my class are girls, it'll be like being in a girl's school. There are only 5 boys, and 2 of them (Mario and Juan) are leaving in December and November to continue studying abroad. I'm gonna miss them, known them since Elementary! *cry* So, there'll only be 14 of us, and only 3 boys us are boys.
By the way, almost all of the girl's name ends with the letter 'a'. Look : Cynthia, Felicia, Novia, Sisilia, Natasha, Laurentia (me), Katharina, Jessica, Kezia. Only two names don't : Stephanie and Steffi. Haha!
I hate this year's SOP. I really do.
And you know what's worse? I really wish he was there with me..
